SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn't Exist
Overview
Sixteen years after the enactment of the "Law for Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising," which eradicated crude humor, Tanukichi Okuma joins a prestigious public morals academy. His life takes a wild turn when he is coerced into joining the Anti-Societal Organization (SOX) by its charismatic leader, Ayame Kajou. Caught in a whirlwind of explicit pranks and outrageous schemes, Tanukichi grapples with his feelings for the brilliant student council president, Anna, while navigating the absurdities of a society stripped of humor and freedom.
